Nordic Walking Technique Course

Nordic Walking is highly effective, affordable and FUN!  At Pipsticks Walks we provide expert tuition to ensure that you develop the correct Nordic Walking technique and get the most benefit from this fantastic outdoor activity.

Our session starts on the recreation ground at Shiplake (or at Pinkneys Green), then we go out on the paths over the fields and through the woods. We follow the INWA 10-steps of Nordic Walking, and you will be given plenty of support and guidance along the way.

What Do I Need?

Nordic walking poles will be provided for use during the session (we will also provide advice on the different types of pole and how buy).

You should wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for outdoor exercise (and the British weather!). A small rucksack or bumbag can be useful for water, energy snacks and personal items.

What Next?

We will send you joining instructions once we have received your booking. We will also ask you complete a Physical Activity Questionnaire.
