Discover the Mysteries of Lowbury Hill

The unassuming Lowbury Hill packs a big punch! On these walks, ancient downland tracks lead us up onto the billowy downs with their sweeping coombs and breath-taking panoramic views to explore Lowbury Hill and its environs.  This is a rich landscape steeped in history including the prehistoric Ridgeway, a Roman Temple, a Saxon Battle, ‘Lowbury Man’ and a mediaeval rabbit warren!  The chalk hills here are also home to hares, skylarks, yellowhammers, and curlew, and in spring/summer are adorned with wildflowers and butterflies.
